The Jay County Cancer Society will always have a place in my heart. Knowing there was support and guidance through the ups and downs of my mother's journey through cancer always gave me peace. Our community is truly blessed to have this organization!

Going to the Jay County Cancer Walk was a heartwarming experience for me. Attending with my grandmother, who was a survivor of breast cancer and later lost her fight to Leukemia, was a great opportunity to celebrate in her accomplishment of being the warrior I'll always remember her as!

I have volunteered for the Jay County Cancer Society in previous years, and attended their events leading up to and after those experiences as well. It was an incredible feeling to spend my time volunteering for an organization that was very organized, incredibly thoughtful, and extremely intentional. Being a volunteer is always rewarding and working with JCCS was truly an honor.

Having a family member that has been affected by cancer, shows that cancer seeps into all areas of an individual’s life and their family’s life. The Jay County Cancer is a blessing that helps lighten the load of cancer through emotional, mental, physical, and financial support. A person can’t fight cancer alone. They need a team and the Jay County Cancer Society is that team.

Anyone can make a difference! I choose to make a difference in the lives of Jay County's cancer families after seeing the pain and suffering caused by this disease.I pray that I have made a difference through my volunteer efforts and having a listening ear.
